«I was just about to have an interview. The company wrote to me after my review and immediately invited me for an interview. But I was never able to get through to the call because at the last minute they canceled the interview with a note that the position was closed,» she said .
It turns out that such situations in the IT market also happen to other candidates.
«I did a test, they called me for an interview, but two hours before, they canceled it with the same argument,» said designer Olena Kovalenko.
«Nobody respects anyone in this market. Candidates don’t respect employers' time, and employers don’t respect candidates' time. That’s why we have what we have. Of course, there are exceptions, but in general, you need to understand that anything can happen. I was once scheduled for an interview after a test, and then they disappeared,» shared developer Oleksiy S.
