Mykhailo Rogalsky believes that young IT specialists are able to bring results to the company much faster. For example, monobank is preparing to launch a new product, the idea of which was proposed by young team members.
Monobank organizes internships twice a year to attract young talents. Interns work in teams led by strong developers who share their experience with them. As a result of the program, the company employs up to 70% of interns.
"We continue to hire young people. Young people are now producing results faster. We have a project that we haven't announced yet. It was born within the company," Rogalsky said in an interview with Forbes Ukraine.
What is known about the new service?
According to Rogalsky, he was approached by two employees responsible for the restaurant department. They presented him with a new service for finding and renting housing.
The product impressed with its functionality: AI-generated ads, electronic signature integration, automatic recording of views, and even calculating the distance to the metro, Silpo, or Nova Poshta.
The most interesting thing is that the application was written by only one developer, and the entire team of three people worked on the project for three months exclusively in the evenings.
Rogalsky suggested they create a new project with the same staff. Within two months, the team had a finished product that monobank plans to launch in the near future.
