The Wall Street Journal, which first reported the news, notes that the US is also asking NATO allies to provide similar support to Ukraine.
According to US officials quoted by The Wall Street Journal, approval for this move came around the time Donald Trump posted on social media speculation that Ukraine could return all of its territories occupied by Russia.
The United States is also considering Ukraine’s request for additional military assistance, including Tomahawk missiles, which should make such strikes deep into Russia possible.
Earlier this year, the US, let us recall, on the contrary, briefly suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
At the same time, it became known that the American aerospace company Maxar Technologies had deprived Ukrainian users of free access to its satellite images. This was presumably due to the US ban on sharing intelligence data with Ukraine.
