As dev.ua reported in the Kyivstar.Tech press service, the new product is the result of an internal hackathon, where one of the teams presented this idea. «Last year, we held such a hackathon to search for high-quality business ideas that have the potential for implementation. Teams from different companies of the Kyivstar group participated, because we believe that the best solutions are born in the collaboration of specialists with different expertise. The process was open to everyone who had an idea and a desire to work on its development. According to the results of the hackathon, the winning team received a grant to develop an MVP product,» the Kyivstar.Tech press service noted.
The company says the product is currently in the deep research phase, which is a key part of creating an MVP. The team is working on refining the concept, testing key hypotheses, and testing market demand. «The focus is on determining the real value of the product for the market. Therefore, there are no specific plans for its launch at this time,» the company said.
Star.packly is a Telegram bot that is currently being tested in two districts of the capital — Obolon and Poznyaki. The service allows you to choose profitable offers with discounts.

In Poznyaki, you can order food at several establishments, including «BoKhlib», «Nasha Banda», and Otdohnuli.
In Obolon, orders are available at BoKhlib, Rollhouse, and CHEREPAHA GRIL-BAR.
After that, the client is sent a promotional code that allows them to receive a discount.
«When you interact with our bot „StarPackly“, we collect basic information about your profile, such as your first name, last name, username, and profile picture, as provided by Telegram. This data is stored indefinitely. We also store all messages you send to our bot while it remains active — these messages may contain personal data,» the bot’s developers warn.
In the meantime, users can delete their data by blocking the Telegram bot, which will trigger automatic data deletion. Some data may be stored for up to 30 days.

«To provide our services, we use third-party data processing tools. For example, third parties provide the servers on which StarPackly operates. We do not transfer user data to third parties, except when required by law or requests from authorities. The Kyivstar.Tech press service is not yet disclosing details about how the product integrates in different locations, what data the operator uses when choosing locations, why it is being tested in Obolon and Poznyaki, and how many people are working on the startup. The company promises to share information after the test period is over — in a few months.
