Prokofiev reported this in an interview with the project «Business Breakfast with Volodymyr Fedorin» from Forbes Ukraine.
«In fact, our conversion is like that of venture projects: out of ten, seven died, one was successful, two more are still in the process, it is not clear what will happen to them,» said the founder of Jooble.
Ukrainian grocery company Jooble launched its own startup incubator in 2022 with the intention of having over 10 projects go through it in a year. The company was willing to invest from $100,000 to $2 million in each product.
According to Prokofiev, the startup studio’s most successful project was J-Vers, a startup that optimizes recruiting. Investments in the project amounted to $100,000, and the business’s expected revenue this year is $6 million.
Another social media recruiting service, Adsee, was integrated into Jooble. «We realized that it wouldn’t work as a separate business,» Roman Prokofiev commented on the merger.
In 2024-2025, the startup studio did not launch new projects, but is considering resuming this direction in the next two years.
