The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved for operation in units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine the hexodrone «Teslia». It is designed to transport various cargoes on the front line.
Each wheel of the robot has a separate motor. The NRC is able to continue moving even after some of the motors or wheels are damaged. The six-wheel chassis allows for reduced pressure on the ground surface, which reduces the risk of being hit by anti-personnel mines.
The wheels can be equipped with airless tires that perform the task even after damage.
«Teslia» fits into the body of a military pickup truck or minibus. It can carry up to two hundredweight of cargo. It is equipped with a quick-change battery that can be replaced very quickly in the field.
