When paying, stars are received by chat owners, not Telegram, the Telegram Info channel reports. As noted, the group owner or interlocutor independently enables this function at their own discretion. Paid message settings will be available in personal chats and groups. Paid message settings may be different for different types of chats.
For now, the feature is only available to individual users and on the Telegram test server. No other details about the upcoming feature are available yet.
Some users mentioned that a similar tool is used on Onlyfans to attract additional audiences.
