The undisputed leader in terms of recruitment volume remains GlobalLogic, which holds the top two spots together with PrivatBank. The real breakthrough was FRACTAL, which rose 3 positions and closed the top three for the first time, demonstrating the highest average developer salary per year of experience among them — $815.38 (above average), reports the Djinni blog.
SKELAR (+11 positions) and Ajax Systems (+8 positions) also made rapid strides. Dataforest is a newcomer to the ranking.
An analysis of the hiring structure shows that most employers focus on Ukrainian specialists: at Ajax Systems and Luxoft, the share of Ukrainians is an absolute 100%, while the lowest figure is recorded at Boosta (76%).
As for the willingness to hire candidates without experience (juniors/trainees), Ajax Systems and Boosta are the leaders here - both companies have as many as 24% of all hires for beginners. On the other hand, Luxoft and TemaBit Fozzy Group did not hire specialists without experience at all (0%), and at PrivatBank this figure is a symbolic 1%.
In terms of financial offerings, besides the leader FRACTAL, Ajax Systems ($752.94) and TemaBit Fozzy Group ($741.03) offer “above average” salary levels. The lowest average rate per year of experience among companies with available data is recorded at Dataforest ($515.38).
"Luxoft and TemaBit Fozzy Group were lower in the ranking for the past six months. The latter closed the top three six months ago," Djinni noted.
In the category of developer hiring, the absolute leader is GlobalLogic, where developers make up more than half of all recruits (55%), followed by TemaBit Fozzy Group with a figure of 50%, while BetterMe did not hire any developers at all during this period (0%).
Instead, the category of other technical specialists turned out to be the most priority for PrivatBank, where it covers a record 73% of all hires; high demand for such specialists was also demonstrated by BetterMe (67%) and Ajax Systems (63%).
The recruiting structure in the non-technical sector is particularly notable, where Boosta holds the undisputed leadership - as much as 86% of its hires were for marketers, managers, or other non-technical staff, followed by FRACTAL (54%) and SKELAR (45%) with a significant lead.
GlobalLogic showed the least interest in non-technical staff, limited to only 2% of total hires, while other companies, such as Luxoft, Dataforest, or TemaBit Fozzy Group, maintained a more balanced focus with an emphasis on engineering and related technical roles.
