"NVIDIA is a great choice and conditions for any ambitious manager." Which global tech giants would Ukrainian IT leaders like to work for?
We often ask IT professionals about salaries, technologies, and markets. But this time, it’s about personal choice. dev.ua asked the heads of Ukrainian IT companies which global tech giant they would like to work for if they had to start a new stage of their career.
Top managers from Ciklum, Headway Inc, and Railsware shared their answers. For some, it’s about scale and impact on millions of users, for others, it’s about culture, speed of decisions, or freedom to experiment. And it’s not always Google or Apple.

Vitaliy Nuzhny, Regional Delivery Head at Ciklum
It may not sound too original, but within my current role I see a lot of opportunities to create new value for both the company and the team. Working with customers, balancing demand in my CEE region, developing training initiatives and management expertise is a challenging but very rewarding and interesting job. If we dive into the world of fantasy, NVIDIA currently looks like an undisputed market leader, still in a phase of active growth — an excellent choice and conditions for any ambitious manager.
CEO and founder of Headway Inc Anton Pavlovsky
I would still choose Headway Inc. It’s my conscious choice, not a career question. This year the company entered the top four EdTech companies in the world, and for me this is not the final point, but just the beginning and an incentive to build further.
Headway Inc. started with the idea of making knowledge accessible to people in an overloaded world. Over the years, the company has grown, but its mission has remained the same — to help people grow and develop.
It is important for me to continue this work together with a team that is not afraid of ambition, thinks long-term and is able to make difficult decisions. This is where I see the meaning of the founder’s role: to create an environment in which both the business, the team and you grow. No top position in a global giant provides such a level of involvement and personal responsibility.
Sergey Korolev, Co-CEO, Railsware
I admit honestly: I really plan to work for a global giant. The only caveat is that it won’t require changing employers, because our ambitions at Railsware are quite big. No kidding, I’m much more interested in building my own than managing a ready-made giant. In large corporations, many things are already decided. And the real drive is where you still need to find a balance between engineering, product, and people. That’s why I can’t imagine working outside of Railsware.
Top IT companies were asked to describe 2025 in one paragraph. Here’s how the past year will be remembered by the leaders of EPAM, Ciklum Headway Inc, Railsware and others
There are a lot of candidates, there are enough vacancies, but there are no matches. Recruiters from EPAM, Ciklum, Sigma Software, EVO and others explain the paradox of hiring in Ukrainian IT
Як увійти в IT, якщо не вмієш кодити? Три історії неайтішних спеціалістів з Ciklum, TECHIIA та Intetics
