Turn on emergency notifications on your smartphone

The state’s emergency alert system sends out distress signals that bypass your device’s silent mode, ensuring you hear the alert in time to take cover.

• iOS: Settings → Notifications. Scroll down and turn on the sliders under Emergency Alerts.
• Android: “Settings” → “Passwords & Security” (or “Security & Emergency”) → “Emergency Notifications”. Activate the sliders. Or “Location” → find the item “Air Alerts in Ukraine” → go to it and turn on the notification.

Watch out for sirens

Sirens and other warning systems are working. If you hear an air raid siren or receive an official notification about it, immediately go to the nearest shelter and stay there until the official end.

Receive verified information about air threats and the movement of enemy targets exclusively from the channels of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram, WhatsApp, and Viber.
