As Scroll.media previously reported, citing its own sources, Citrus, unlike several other players on the market, failed to adapt to the challenges of a full-scale invasion: the company remained unprofitable for a long time.
One market source indicates that the company may not survive the next season unless it finds a new investor or partner. As a result, in order to cut costs, Citrus has also begun closing stores: over the past year, the number of locations has decreased by 11 — from 69 to 58 points.
According to the publication, the company is considering a sale, according to three different reputable sources. The deal is estimated to be worth $15 million for the entire existing business.
Scroll.media previously reported that the network was in talks with the Yabko network. However, on March 12, the editorial office received a letter in which the company categorically denied this information.
UPD. A Citrus customer said that they tried to «cheat» her out of UAH 17,000 for repairing her smartphone. The company says that this is slander and is preparing a lawsuit.
