«When a country is at war on a full scale and at the same time remains a world leader in digital services, this is achieved not through magic, but through solving complex issues and strategic planning. And launching paid services is just one of such solutions», Vovk explained in his column on RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, for the project to develop, it needs a support system, and monetization was introduced precisely for this purpose.
«We understand well that monetization in public services is a sensitive issue. Therefore, we are not going down the path of drastic changes. On the contrary, we make all decisions in close cooperation with business,» assured the head of the «Diia» implementation team at the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
He added that the formation of future tariff models will also take place in dialogue with market representatives.
«The funds received will be used to support and develop „Diia“ — from technical infrastructure to the development of new services and modernization of existing ones,» said Oleksiy Vovk.
At the same time, «Diia» once again assured that all services remain free for citizens.
Previously, dev.ua reported that document sharing in «Diia» — when a user sends an electronic copy of a passport or other documents to the bank — will become paid for financial institutions from June 1.
