This was announced by Vyriy CEO Oleksiy Babenko during the Brave1 Advantage event.
According to him, the new drone bomber is largely based on an old development that was never put into mass production due to a lack of funds, because at that time the company was just starting its journey.
The new drone bomber is a hexacopter with 15-inch propellers that can stay in the air for about one hour.
«The main thing is the weight. It will carry a lot. If we take it in numbers, it is about 7-8 kg per 25 km. Which is a lot for this size,» Babenko noted.
The new UAV will also be equipped with a Starlink module.
According to Oleksiy Babenko, this drone-bomber from Vyriy Industries will cost about $6,000.
«Why? Because it has a thermal imaging camera, because it has large Solid State batteries, and in general, everything is done with a margin,» emphasized CEO Vyriy.
As dev.ua wrote, Vyriy Industries plans to significantly expand the staff of software engineers.
In June, Vyriy opened about 200 vacancies and expanded recruitment beyond Kyiv.
