The PlayCity State Agency has announced a tender for the development of the State Online Monitoring System (SOMS), which is designed to make the gambling market transparent. This was reported on the website of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.
According to the DSOM documentation, it is an automated information and communication system designed to continuously monitor the activities of entities that organize and conduct gambling.
The system provides centralized collection, processing, storage and analysis of data on gaming transactions, allowing the Authorized Body to carry out state supervision in accordance with the requirements of the law.
The DSOM must operate in real time, perform up to 10,000 operations per second, and interact with five internal registers:
The tender provides for state funding of UAH 30 million and must be completed by December 8, 2025. However, the regulator noted that the full budget for creating an online monitoring system and maintaining license registers is UAH 84 million.
You can apply to participate in tender procurement until September 10, and the auction will take place on September 11.
Earlier, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, reminded the state agency Playcity on the channel that the deadline established by law for putting into operation the state online monitoring system for the gambling market expires on September 30.
