According to Roman, he was motivated to create his own product because he couldn’t find anything free in the AppStore.
LexiMory is a free English vocabulary learning app that helps you memorize new words with vivid images, audio pronunciations, and real-life example sentences — so your brain connects to each word through sight, sound, and context.
The service works using the interval repetition method.
LexiMory is designed for English learners of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your already strong vocabulary, LexiMory adapts to your pace.
The application has the following features:
- adding new words with automatic translation into your native language;
- visualization: each word is accompanied by an image, pronunciation, and examples in context;
- Repetition system: using a scientifically based method of interval repetition for better memorization;
- Organization: the ability to create your own categories by topics or difficulty levels.
- An internet connection is required when searching for new words (for translations, images, and audio). However, after saving words, you can review the cards offline.
The app is currently available in the App Store for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (iOS 13.0+), and Mac computers with the Apple M1 chip or later.
