The Ukrainian-American Oppenheimer Acceleration Fund has financed the American miltech startup MARA, which became the fund’s third investment in this sector, in addition to the Ukrainian startups Bavovna.AI and Swarmer.

This was reported by Forbes Ukraine with reference to Oppenheimer Acceleration co-founder Oleksandr Soroka.

According to him, Oppenheimer Acceleration will finance startups in the amount of $125,000 as part of the acceleration program, recruitment for which is ongoing.

At the same time, according to the plans, startups will receive $25,000 during the preparation stage, and another $100,000 during the acceleration program. The program also includes a monthly online course and a week-long intensive and Demo Day in Silicon Valley.

«The fund will also help attract $1 million in investments after the program is completed,» Soroka explained.

The latter has been engaged in venture investing in Silicon Valley for over 10 years and supports projects such as Bavovna.AI and Swarmer.

In November last year, it was also announced that Ukrainian miltech startup Bavovna.AI had raised $2.7 million in investment.

The Ukrainian company Swarmer, which is working on AI technology for uniting drones into a swarm, also received a grant of UAH 2 million from Brave1.
