The Ukrainian analytical company Esports Charts analyzed Ukrainian-language esports broadcasts for the first half of 2025 and reported that in the first half of 2025, users watched a total of over 13.1 million hours of streams.
Esports Charts notes that this is a 44,2% increase over the first half of 2024, and attributes it to the increase in the total number of tournaments and the successes of Natus Vincere in Counter-Strike and Dota 2.
«The Ukrainian-speaking audience demonstrates a consistently high interest in esports content in live streaming — the increase in views by over 40% compared to the first half of 2024 clearly confirms this. CS2 remains the undisputed leader among disciplines, and NAVI matches traditionally attract the most attention. This indicates a stable interest and creates a good foundation for the further development of the Ukrainian-speaking scene,» commented Artem Odintsov, co-founder and CEO of Esports Charts, on the study.
It is noted that the peak online audience of Ukrainian-language broadcasts in the first half of 2025 was 114,518 viewers on all platforms. IEM Katowice 2025 gathered such an audience. However, it has not yet been possible to surpass last year’s peak online record — it still belongs to the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 tournament, which gathered 137,886 viewers at the screens.
