A Ukrainian IT professional has developed a micro-SaaS service for automatic CV distribution for DOU vacancies. How it works
Ukrainian IT professional Volodymyr Bondarchuk developed and launched a micro-SaaS service for automatically sending resumes for vacancies posted on the DOU website.
Ukrainian IT professional Volodymyr Bondarchuk developed and launched a micro-SaaS service for automatically sending resumes for vacancies posted on the DOU website.
The developer reported this to dev.ua.
In order to use its functionality, you need to register on the CV Postman service and select the vacancy criteria according to which the program will send CVs.
«Dou CV Auto Bidding is a web application that automates the process of submitting applications (bidding) for vacancies on DOU. It helps save you time, increasing the efficiency of your job search,» the website states .
At the same time, as the developer assures, the application simulates the manual application process, so these actions look natural for employers.
The site offers several subscription options with a free trial period.
«I rewrote the automated script that sends the newsletter three times — using three different technologies. Where did the idea come from? It’s very simple — I was looking for a job for a long time and applied for vacancies on Djinni and DOU. I applied almost every day or every other day and it started to „swing“ at me. That’s why I decided to create a solution that could help with this need,» Volodymyr Bondarchuk shared the history of the service on his YouTube channel.
At the same time, as dev.ua previously wrote, by 2030, 40% of employers plan to replace people with AI: which professions are under threat over the next 5 years and are IT specialists at risk?
Nevertheless, Ukrainian IT professionals are already debating whether AI will replace developers by the end of 2025.
«I see it as a scam.» The senior developer turned down the offer after working for the company for two days. He is now looking for a new job and is willing to pay $1,000 to anyone who can help.
