Drill Masterclasses allows instructors to earn up to 70% of sales, and a SaaS model is available for companies with the ability to integrate via QR codes, APIs, or licenses. Drill has now opened a $500,000 investment round to grow Drill Masterclasses.
According to DOU, the company operates simultaneously in Ukraine, the EU and the USA, where it has created legal structures for cooperation with NATO partners. The first customers of the courses were veterans' organizations and manufacturers of drones, armor and tactical equipment. Among the partners are PSD Info, D3, CSA, Ukrainian Armor, EasyPractice, as well as units of the Defense Forces, which are already preparing courses on medicine, drones and ground systems.
The marketplace allows defense companies, training centers, and training ranges to create and distribute their own courses. The platform should support videos, 3D instructions, PDF manuals, analytics, CRM, and billing. Each course, the developers say, can be customized for a specific country, division, or product.
In April, the company raised $100,000 in investment. According to the developers, this money was to be used to create a B2B platform.
In January, the Drill App launched its first FPV drone lessons, which include assembly, UAV maintenance, and initial simulator-based training.
DrillApp is a mobile application for military training, developed by former head of the OLX product department, who is currently the technical director of Forbes Ukraine, Oleksandr Gusarov, and special forces soldier Igor (last name withheld). The platform provides over 130 interactive lessons on weapons, medicine, tactics, and other topics. Tests, progress tracking, voice instructions, and feedback from instructors are also available.
DrillApp already has over 200,000 users in 189 countries, including military, volunteers, and civilians. Training courses are open to Ukrainians for free.
