SID Venture Partners has announced 5 investments in startups operating in Healthcare, Gaming, Education, and Enterprise Software. Since its launch in December 2021, the fund has invested over $5.5 million in startups from Ukraine, the US, and other countries. The fund's total number of deals has reached over 30 investments.

This is a venture fund that brings together 13 Ukrainian entrepreneurs and was launched in December 2021. The fund focuses on early-stage Ukrainian and international startups with global ambitions, and in 2023 was recognized as the "Investor of the Year" by the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
"We continue to focus on advanced AI applications and pay attention to the Ukrainian ecosystem," the fund noted.
The announced investments were made during 2024:
Burt Intelligence is an AdTech company that builds a platform for the digital advertising industry. Their solutions help publishers gain real-time insights, analyze trends, and increase ROI on ad spend. Burt's clients include Vox Media and The CW Network. The company is led by Shai Brog, who previously held executive positions at AOL, GumGum, and Insticator.
Sepal AI (YC'24) creates high-quality training data and expert annotations for AI model development in collaboration with world-leading experts. The company has attracted a network of over 20,000 scientists and industry experts in various fields, including biology, law, medicine, chemistry, mathematics and engineering. Sepal AI is led by Robbie Lin, Kat Hu and Fedor Paretsky, who previously worked at companies such as Turing, McKinsey, Bain and Vercel.
GameTree is a LFG (Looking For Group) platform with over 1 million users that takes an innovative approach to gamer matching. GameTree uses AI to match players based on gaming preferences, personality, and playstyle. The startup’s catalog includes both video (PC, Nintendo, Xbox, and PS5) and board games. The company is led by Dana Sydorenko (Forbes 30u30 Europe), who has a background in business, technology, and investment.
Altris AI is a startup revolutionizing ophthalmology and optometry through automated interpretation of OCT scans. The company has developed an FDA-approved platform that detects over 70 biomarkers and retinal pathologies, with the ability to assess early glaucoma risk. Altris AI solutions are already in demand and implemented in over 500 ophthalmology offices. The company was founded by Maria Znamenska (PhD in ophthalmology) and Andriy Kurop'yatnik, MBA and IT consultant.
memoryOS is an EdTech startup focused on memory training through a combination of proven methodologies and gamification. Co-founded by two-time world memory champion Jonas von Essen and Ukrainian entrepreneur Oleksiy Ruzhytskyi, memoryOS has already attracted over 100,000 users. The highlight of memoryOS is its unique approach to memory improvement, combining effective learning and memorization techniques, interactive Duolingo-style micro-lessons, and patented virtual Memory Palace technology.
SID Venture Partners is also one of the most active partners of Y Combinator, having invested in 6 alumni companies to date. The fund's presence in San Francisco and close relationship with YC gives early access to the most promising startups emerging from Silicon Valley's leading accelerator.
