Its co-founders Olya Kotseba and Ivan Molchanov told Speka about this.
«Quests Inc is an app that works on a simple idea: everyone can create or find an event (quest), whether it’s a tea party, a picnic, listening to records together, going to an exhibition, holding a workshop, going to the mountains and much more. Other users can join her and thus start new acquaintances or find a circle for themselves for various activities,» — explained Kotseba.
According to her, to increase the comfort and safety of participants, the application moderates profiles and events, and each user must pass a check. At the same time, antinomy is not allowed.
Ivan Molchanov, in turn, added that social networks encourage content that keeps people on the screen, and his application seeks to get people off their phones and offer real activity.
«The idea is for the user to find people for the event faster, rather than lingering on the feed,» — explained the co-founder.
According to the authors, the basic functionality of the application has already been implemented, which allows users to create their own events and connect to existing ones.
Olya Kotseba added that the application currently works for free, but from the beginning of 2025 it will switch to a freemium subscription system, which will provide additional AI functions and access to extended functionality.
«In the next six months, we plan to launch a subscription for creators as well, where it will be possible to make in-app payments, manage participants, see statistics, etc.,» — she said.
The founders added that their platform has a reporting feature, so users can report suspicious profiles or quests.
