A new job search aggregator site has been launched in Ukraine, focused on IT specialists. TheJob is free and collects vacancies directly from companies

Outstaff Account Manager Roman Zolotarevsky, together with a team of volunteers, launched TheJob, a platform that collects IT/tech/digital vacancies in one place. The goal is to provide candidates with 25,000–30,000 vacancies for free.
For the past 4 years, Roman has been working as an outstaffing account manager, helping developers find jobs. Therefore, he understands all the problems that IT professionals and clients face.
"The idea came when I saw a simple problem: IT/tech vacancies are very scattered across different sites (job boards, IT company sites), and candidates have to look for work in many places at once. And I wanted to create one centralized platform where you can see all relevant vacancies in one place," Roman said.
From the idea to the first release, it took about two years. Initially, one Full Stack developer worked on the first version of the platform. Over time, the team began to grow, and now 17 volunteers are working on the project - Backend, Frontend, Full Stack and ML developers, as well as QA and DevOps.
The platform was launched on March 2, and two days later it had 300 unique visits.
About the project
In short,TheJobis a platform that collects IT/tech/digital vacancies directly from IT company websites and displays them in one place. Its main difference is that it focuses on aggregating vacancies from direct employers.
Founder Roman Zolotarevsky
DOU is a strong media and community with a vacancies section. Djinni is more of an anonymous hiring marketplace format. Work.ua and Robota.ua are large general job boards for different fields. TheJob is focused specifically on IT/tech/digital and on gathering the market as fully as possible in one place. For example, there are currently 10,000 vacancies on Djinni, and the total potential of the Ukrainian IT vacancy market is approximately 25,000–30,000 IT vacancies.
TheJob collects vacancies from the websites of the companies themselves - from their career pages and vacancies sections. The system then finds, structures and updates these vacancies. LLM is involved in the process: it helps to process data faster, better identify relevant vacancies, structure descriptions and in the future improve the quality of search and matching.
“We want candidates to be able to use TheJob for free. "We don't even have registration right now, so go to TheJob, look for vacancies, apply," Roman noted.
Currently, the platform is focused on the Ukrainian IT/tech/digital market, and plans to scale to other markets in the future.
The entire team works on a volunteer basis. The only financial support they received was a $25,000 infrastructure grant from AWS.
Plans
If we talk about the nearest plans, the team is currently working on improving the platform's functionality, increasing the coverage of vacancies, and connecting more companies.
"Now we need to improve aggregation and often check that the vacancy still exists on the IT company's website - it is important for the candidate to see only relevant vacancies. There are still problems with the search: sometimes it displays irrelevant vacancies," added Roman.
In the future, the platform is planned to be monetized by IT companies, some of which are already interested in the project. Among them are Kyivstar, Monobank, Uklon, EPAM, Luxoft, ZONE3000, Checkbox, Ajax Systems, Sigma Software Group, COAX, Netpeak Group, inVerita, LetsData, Universe Group, United Tech, Viseven, and others.
“There is no crowd of applicants, and the chances of getting on the shortlist increase exponentially.” 26 sites where job searching will be more effective than LinkedIn and Djinni
