Veterans can get free training in Project Management. What are the course conditions?

Project Operations Manager at Beetroot Academy Darya Magda emphasized that the initiative will help military personnel find new opportunities and gain in-demand skills to move forward in civilian life.

Who can apply for the course?

• Veterans (participants in hostilities, persons with disabilities as a result of war, participants in war).
• Active military personnel and volunteers.
• Family members of military personnel, volunteers, and veterans.
• Families of dead, missing, or captured soldiers and volunteers.

How to get on the course?

• submit an application by February 24, 2025;
• take the test (you will receive it after registration) by February 28, 2025;
• to pass an interview;
• receive information about the result;
• to start studying.

The deadline for applications is March 10, 2025.

About training

The course program includes five modules:

• Module 1. General knowledge about project management and the IT industry (8 hours, 4 topics).
• Module 2. Project management knowledge areas (14 hours, 7 topics).
• Module 3. Agile methodologies (20 hours, 10 topics).
• Module 4. Technical Skills of Project Managers. Interview Preparation (10 hours, 5 topics)
• Module 5. Soft skills of project managers. Course completion

As a bonus, participants will also receive materials from:

• AI skills for the career of the future (21 hours, 6 self-study topics)
• English club (15 hours, one and a half hour class each week)
• Career counseling (2 hours of group counseling with a professional recruiter, 4 hours of independent theory study).

The course Project management in IT starts on March 20, 2025. More detailed information will be provided to selected applicants in person after the application deadline (March 10).
