Disabled veterans and family members of fallen soldiers will now be able to receive their status in digital format
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs reported that veterans with disabilities as a result of war (VVD) and family members of a deceased (deceased) defender (FDC) will now be able to obtain the appropriate status without filling out paper documents.

The service, implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs together with the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which allows you to obtain digital statuses of the OIVV and CHSZ, will be launched in the coming days, the ministry reported. The procedure will be available online through the «Diya» portal or at the nearest ASC.
The status of a person with a disability as a result of war can be obtained by: military personnel and members of voluntary formations of territorial communities (DFTG) who were wounded, injured, or maimed while defending Ukraine.
The status of a family member of a deceased Defender or Defenderess has the right to receive:
parents,
one of the spouses who has not remarried, regardless of whether he or she is receiving a pension or not,
children who do not have (and did not have) their own families,
children who have their own families but become disabled before reaching adulthood,
children whose parents are both dead or missing,
dependents of the deceased (deceased), who are paid a pension in this regard.
The deadline for considering the application and making a decision is within 30 days.
Important: Only persons who have a Taxpayer Registration Card Number (TRC) can submit an application through the ASC without filling out a paper application form.
