President Volodymyr Zelensky admires Elon Musk as a "self-made" person and innovation leader.
He said this in an interview with American podcaster Lex Friedman.
"I would really like Elon to be on our side as much as possible, to support us. And yes, I am grateful to him for Starlink. First of all, for the fact that our guys had a connection, and the children," the president said.
Zelensky added that he knows from his own experience what it is like to create companies and make money, to select talented people, invest knowledge and money in them, and do something important.
"I don't compare myself to Musk. He is the leader of innovation in the world. I believe that such people only move the world forward. And that is why I respect the result of his work. And we see this result," the President of Ukraine.
The President thanked Musk for his assistance in providing Starlink terminals and would like to see him in Kyiv and involve him as much as possible on the Ukrainian side.
