To train more military personnel, the company decided not to limit itself to its own Vyriy Aero School and involved six partner centers in the training. Among them are Boryviter, Victory Drones, KillHouse, Dovzhik, X-Hub, and the Serhiy Prytula Foundation Training Center.
If a serviceman has never worked with aircraft-type drones, the training will last 10 days. During this time, he must master the theory and practice flying. However, experienced crews need 5–7 days of practical training to switch to Sokil.
The military learns to independently prepare the drone for operation, plan routes, take into account the weather and terrain. A significant part of the training is practice: take-offs, landings, and flights over various distances. After completing the course, the crew must be able to independently prepare the complex, perform the planned flight, and land the device safely.
In the future, Vyriy Industries plans to train the military to work with its other developments, in particular, the Veresen and Slavic drones.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Vyriy introduced Sokil in September 2025 as an inexpensive reconnaissance drone for daily frontline work. It weighs about 8 kg, is launched simply by hand, and has a camera with 10x optical zoom.
One Sokil costs about $5,000. The drone was created to monitor enemy positions and movements, so as not to use much more expensive reconnaissance systems for such tasks.
