A free online program called Women in Cyber has been created for women in Ukraine to help them gain knowledge in cybersecurity. Who is it suitable for?

The CDTO Campus online training program «Women in Cyber: Cybersecurity Skills» for women who want to start a career in cybersecurity has appeared on the «Action. Education» platform.
According to Valeria Ionan, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, Women in Cyber is a launching pad for women who want to change their professional vector, develop digital skills, or «deeper understand digital risks.»
«This program is our response to the challenges of the times. It was created so that more women can enter the field of cyber security, start a new career, or integrate knowledge into existing professional activities,» noted Halyna Pustova, director of CDTO Campus.
Who will benefit from the program?
The Women in Cyber program is aimed at professionals who are looking to transition into cybersecurity or gain new knowledge to apply in their current professional activities. The educational content is available to anyone: no prior or basic experience in cybersecurity is required.
The program offers:
to become familiar with the basic concepts and principles of cybersecurity;
learn about the specifics of working in this field from experienced experts recognized by the industry;
receive practical advice from mentors and lecturers with international experience.
«Over a million Ukrainians are already learning cyber hygiene through educational series on Diya.Osvita, and the demand for applied digital skills is growing every day. Responding to this challenge, we have accumulated lectures by leading international experts and interactive cases in a compact Women in Cyber guide. The format allows you to check your own security settings in a matter of minutes and at the same time design a personal development trajectory in the cybersphere,» said Ruslana Korenchuk, head of the Diya.Osvita project.
The program includes seven lectures in Ukrainian and English, covering basic and practical topics — cybersecurity fundamentals, risks, and compliance; threat intelligence and resilience during war; working with OSINT — and leadership: the role of women and keys to cyber resilience; personal growth in cyberspace.
In addition, the program’s initiators pay attention to career issues — the training module includes topics on career opportunities in cybersecurity and professional support for women in the industry.
Among the lecturers are invited experts from international practice, in particular from Great Britain, as well as Ukrainian lecturers Lesya Orobets, a public figure and founder of the NGO «Price of Freedom», Sofia Fedorova, an OSINT specialist, Olena Oliynyk, Forum Group Ukraine.
