From 2025, units of the Armed Forces will be able to independently choose the necessary drones and EW through the DOT-Chain system
The state rear operator is developing a new module in the DOT-Chain system, through which the Armed Forces will be provided with drones, means of radio-electronic warfare and intelligence, and ground robotic complexes.
The state rear operator is developing a new module in the DOT-Chain system, through which the Armed Forces will be provided with drones, means of radio-electronic warfare and intelligence, and ground robotic complexes.
After the DOT-Chain system demonstrated its effectiveness, reducing the food supply cycle for the Armed Forces by 4 times, a decision was made to expand its capabilities, the press service of the State Rear Operator reports.
The new DOT-Shain module will make it possible to quickly supply critical equipment for the front and in the quantity that is really needed by the military.
Thus, in DOT-Chain Defense, brigade units will be able to independently choose the means they need, in accordance with their available budgets. The intended functionality will allow to establish direct interaction between the manufacturers and suppliers of UAVs, РЕВ/РЕР, NRK and NSC, the State operator of the rear and the end user — the military.
From the first half of 2025, the demand collection functionality will start, which will take place as follows:
each division of the brigade forms an application in accordance with the assigned combat tasks;
according to the applications from the DOT teams, it forms orders for manufacturers.
DOT is already conducting consultations with the market. It is expected that this will also allow domestic manufacturers to increase production volumes, as they will clearly understand the real needs of the military and, based on order data, develop certain directions.
In general, the full implementation of DOT-Chain Defense will allow:
Participation of units in the formation of applications. Applications are formed directly by units that use the facilities. This increases the accuracy and efficiency of delivery.
Optimize the time and resources of the military. The military will no longer waste time on bureaucratic work. The system digitizes application submission, monitoring and reporting, allowing you to focus on combat missions.
Deliver critical assets quickly. Digitization shortens the time between demand generation and delivery, eliminating bureaucratic delays.
Increase transparency and production efficiency. Manufacturers get a clear understanding of the needs of the Armed Forces. This makes it possible to optimize production capacity, improve product quality and speed up production.
DOT-Chain was launched in September 2024. The development of the IT system cost $80,000, not counting the work of full-time employees of the State Rear Operator. Recently, the functionality of the system has been expanded and the possibility of submitting product quality claims to the Armed Forces has been added.
