One of the common methods of promoting recruiting is targeted advertising on social networks, aimed at foreigners, writes «Ukrainian Pravda», citing the words of an interlocutor among recruiters.
«Bright banners or videos on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok with offers to „break into“ a particular unit help attract new combatants to the Defense Forces of Ukraine,» they claim.
But still, the most effective way to attract foreigners to the ranks of Ukraine’s defenders is «word of mouth.» Recruits tell their relatives and friends about the conditions of service in the Ukrainian army, the financial and social «bonuses,» and sometimes invite them to join their unit.
