Information has emerged that the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapatiy, has banned the forced transfer of communications specialists to any other positions outside their specialty. What is known about this order?
«Military» reported on the ban on transferring communications specialists to the infantry and to other positions, issued by Mykhailo Drapaty, citing its own sources in the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report, in the military units of the Ground Forces that are being restored or formed, the command conducted an analysis of the training of communications specialists. As a result, facts of groundless transfer to infantry formations of communications specialists who had undergone training at the 179th training center became known. Accordingly, military personnel who had no experience in operating the latest means of communication were transferred to their place. Cases were also revealed when the formations were unable to provide control of the units while performing tasks on the contact line.
The report also states that the situation may be different in other branches and types of troops, in particular, in the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces of the USSR, the Armed Forces of the USSR, the Armed Forces of the USSR, the Navy, and in the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In this regard, the Commander equated military accounting specialties (MA) 403, 420, 460, 474, 600 and 769 to high-tech specialties and prohibited transfers to positions in other specialties. Control over the implementation of the order was entrusted to the Deputy Commander of the Land Forces.
