According to updated data from the State Statistics Service for March 2026, the average salary in Ukraine is UAH 30,356 and shows an increase of 7,2% compared to February.
While IT and telecom specialists earn an average of over 85,000 UAH, education workers are on the opposite side of the ranking with an average income of 19,394 UAH.
The leader in terms of the highest average salary traditionally remains Kyiv. In the capital, it has approached the mark of 50,000 hryvnias (49,381 UAH). For comparison, in Kyiv region this figure is much lower — 29,997 UAH. Residents of Kirovohrad (21,375 UAH) and Chernivtsi (21,453 UAH) regions earn the least.
As of February 2026, the average salary of IT professionals in Ukraine was UAH 78,941, while in general in Ukraine the average salary was recorded at UAH 28,321.
Recall that the IT company EPAM worked on the updated website of the State Statistics Service stat.gov.ua and the AI assistant StatGPT. Earlier, the company said that they were engaged in various aspects: from strategic consulting on digitalization and restructuring of internal processes to the formation of new teams and the creation of technological infrastructure.
