SE Ranking, an SEO platform founded by Ukrainians, has laid off 15% of its employees. What was the reason?

SE Ranking, a Ukrainian-founded company that offers businesses cloud SEO platform services, has laid off 15% of its team, or 36 employees.

This was reported by the news channel «Overheard in IT», as well as the DOU website.

According to the news channel, the reductions are part of the company’s restructuring measures and do not in any way indicate a negative financial situation at SE Ranking.

It is reported that the laid-off employees were given compensation in the amount of two salaries and were allowed to keep their company laptops.

DOU reminds that the company has offices in Kyiv, Wroclaw, and Warsaw, and the company employs about 240 people.

SE Ranking is a cloud-based SEO platform used by webmasters, digital agencies, and businesses. It provides tools for position monitoring, site audits, keyword and competitor analysis.

dev.ua sent a request to SE Ranking to confirm the above information and learn more about the terms of the layoffs.

As we previously reported, Ukrainian IT company SPD Technologyunderwent layoffs that affected 14% of employees on one of its client projects.

A wave of layoffs is also beginning in the Ukrainian office of Plarium: the company confirmed that some positions will be eliminated as part of the global reorganization of the MTG group, which owns the studio.

It seems that the wave of layoffs at Playtika has also affected Ukrainian specialists: the company is closing contracts
