A developer has created an app that turns your smartphone into a personal cookbook. How Dinnerish will help you organize recipes from Instagram and TikTok
Anyone who cooks is familiar with this problem: hundreds of screenshots in the gallery, saved videos on Instagram and TikTok, links in Telegram’s “Saved” and messages from mom on Viber with the recipe for the same signature pie. Over time, these materials get lost, and the question “What to cook today?” turns into a quest again. This is exactly the problem that Java developer Yegor Lyannik solved by creating Dinnerish, an application that helps organize recipes from any sources in one place.

Dinnerish is a digital assistant that automatically structures culinary content and turns chaotic notes and photos into a complete personal cookbook.
The app lets you save recipes from anywhere in seconds — from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or websites. Just tap the "Share" button and select Dinnerish, and it will recognize the content and generate structured ingredients and cooking steps.
No need to clutter up your phone's gallery anymore, because Dinnerish allows you to read information even from photos, screenshots, grandma's old cookbooks, or quick text notes from messengers.
The service provides unlimited storage, so users can save as many cooking ideas as they want without any limits.
Additionally, ingredients from any saved dish can be turned into a convenient shopping list for when you go to the store with just one tap.
The app also makes it easy to plan menus together by allowing you to share collections and lists with loved ones, and it syncs between iOS and Android devices.
In upcoming updates, the developer plans to add automatic calculation of the BMV for each dish.
