According to Kalinichenko, several tens of thousands of terminals arrive in Ukraine every month. The state ensures the fulfillment of contracts through Poland and a number of other countries under separate agreements directly with SpaceX. At the same time, supplies are not under threat, because due to the critical role of satellite communications, any restrictions immediately become the subject of negotiations between Ukraine, the United States and partners.
For users who want to stay connected during blackouts, the specialist advises them to estimate the required traffic in advance.
"For a small family or a small company, Starlink Mini will, in principle, be enough. If you need a more stable and powerful connection, you should take the third generation of Starlink: you can connect more subscribers to it, the connection is more stable, the quality is better, but it is much larger in size," said the CEO of Adaptis.
The installation process in buildings up to five floors is usually not difficult: the device is carried out on a bracket provided that there is a good view of the sky. In multi-storey buildings, the cable is pulled through the shafts of Internet providers to the roof, which allows connecting several offices or apartments at once. According to Kalinichenko, the company is already negotiating with providers regarding access to this infrastructure.
The cost of satellite Internet service in Ukraine varies depending on the type of use: a fixed connection costs from $30, and a mobile tariff — from $55. Unlimited and priority tariffs allow you to receive a stable signal in regions with high network load, including in combat zones.
