$3.74 million for Ukrainian robots: Tencore receives record investment in the UGV sector

Ukrainian company Tencore, which specializes in the development of ground robotic complexes, announced the raising of $3.74 million from the investment group MITS Capital. This is the largest publicly confirmed investment round in the ground combat robot sector in Ukraine. The company’s valuation was $50 million.

This is reported by Forbes Ukraine. The company plans to invest in expanding the engineering department, opening a new engineering center and modernizing its flagship product, namely the TerMIT platform. According to Tencore co-founder and CEO Maksym Vasylchenko, in the coming months it is planned to hire 20 new engineers and launch a new production site. Negotiations are also underway with foreign partners to create joint production in Ukraine.

The TerMIT platform is a multifunctional ground drone that can perform logistical, engineering, and combat missions. In 2025, the company plans to produce up to 2,000 of these robots, the majority of which are state-ordered. The share of localized components exceeds 90%, and the cost depends on the configuration and ranges from $12,000 to $50,000.

Founded in early 2024, Tencore already has over 200 employees and collaborates with foundations supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and combat units. Among the customers are «Return Alive», the Serhiy Prytula Foundation, and combat brigades of the Defense Forces.

The company’s focus is not only on combat solutions. In 2025, Tencore plans to enter the dual-use segment, developing remotely controlled equipment for humanitarian demining. This is the answer to tens of thousands of hectares of mined territories, the clearing of which is estimated at billions of dollars.

Since the beginning of 2025, government procurement of NRCs in Ukraine has increased significantly. In the first quarter alone, more than 9,000 units of equipment were purchased. According to estimates by the Brave1 industry cluster, there are more than 200 manufacturers of ground robots operating in the country, but Tencore was one of the first projects that was able to combine rapid scaling, government contracts, and venture financing.

Recall that we also published an article about how Ukrainian manufacturers Frontline and Tencore combined their developments into a single combat system that will allow soldiers to fire from a grenade launcher without exposing themselves to danger.
