As Mezha writes, Flipbook works without classic web elements. There are no HTML, links, or separate text blocks. Each page is an image that the model creates at the user’s request. Switching between «pages» occurs by clicking on any element inside the image.
The peculiarity of the approach is that even the text in Flipbook is not a separate layer. It is generated by the model as part of the image in the form of pixels. This means that the entire interface is formed dynamically and does not have a fixed structure, as in conventional sites.
The system collects content from two sources: agent-based web search and the model’s own knowledge. The authors explicitly acknowledge that errors are possible, and compare the accuracy to chatbots like ChatGPT or Gemini. However, it takes a few seconds to generate a response, so «real time» here is conditional.
Flipbook also has an experimental feature that animates static pages and turns them into a continuous visual stream. It runs separately from the main system and requires significant resources.
Flipbook is interesting because it changes the very logic of the browser. Instead of switching between ready-made sites, the user interacts with generated answers that are collected for each request. This means that the source of information recedes into the background, and the interpretation of the model comes to the fore. For the user, this is a faster response, but at the same time a loss of transparency about where the data comes from and how to check it.
