Van der Velden made the announcement at a launch event for her artificial intelligence product Particle6 in Zurich, Deadline reports. According to her, film studios are already incorporating AI into their processes, and we should expect to see public announcements of high-profile projects using the technology in the coming months.
The news of Tilly Norwood’s potential agency signing comes days after Van der Velden officially announced the creation of Xicoia, a subsidiary of Particle6, an AI talent studio dedicated to creating, managing, and monetizing a new generation of hyper-realistic digital stars.
If the talent signing goes through, Norwood will be one of the first AI-created actresses to receive representation at a talent agency that traditionally works with real-life stars.
«When we first introduced Tilly, people were asking, ‘What is this?’ and now we’re going to announce which agency will represent her in the next few months,» Welden noted.
As a true actress, Tilly Norwood has her own website and social media. In July, she announced on her Facebook page that she had landed her first role, the comedy sketch show «The AI Commissioner.»
