The anonymous Telegram channel "Joker" appeared in 2019, writes "Detectora Media". In 2022, the SBU, in response to a request from People's Deputy Iryna Gerashchenko, reported that the channel belongs to the list of pro-Kremlin resources that are "used by unidentified persons to carry out destructive information activities to the detriment of the state security of Ukraine."

All this time, “Joker” continued to engage in information attacks not only on business, but also on media people. In particular, in the spring of 2024, posts with harsh criticism of the Ukrainian ride-hailing service Uklon appeared on the channel. “Joker” demanded $200,000 from Uklon to stop the information attack. It is also known, according to Forbes, that the online casino Cosmolot paid from $150,000 to $250,000 to stop the criticism.
Later, information began to appear in the media that the administrator of the Joker channel was Roman Kravets, a member of the Servant of the People party. In November, Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov told how Roman Kravets ran his Telegram channel 9 years ago, when he was about 20 years old.
Kravets himself says that he sold the channel in 2022, but does not say to whom. “I do not have access to the channel, I am on friendly terms with the new owner and can ask to post or delete any posts,” Kravets said in November 2024.
