Apple is preparing a big wave of new products. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the company is approaching mass production of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with M5 series chips, and by the end of the year it plans to update the iPad Pro and launch a new version of the Vision Pro.
This is reported by UNIAN, citing reports by insider journalist Mark Gurman.
According to him, laptops with M5 will be released between the end of 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. These models will be more likely planned updates without radical design changes. In contrast, a major overhaul is being prepared for the MacBook Pro in late 2026: OLED screens, the rejection of the notch and the transition to the M6 chip, which will be produced using the next-generation four-nanometer class. In parallel, in the same time period, Apple is preparing a new Studio Display.
The company is set to unveil new iPad Pros by the end of the year. According to an insider, the focus will be on performance and the screen to significantly distance the Pro from the Air. The updated launch list also includes the Vision Pro with improvements in usability, battery life, and software for professional scenarios.
A separate line is the home ecosystem. The gourmet talks about preparing several updates for Apple TV and HomePod mini. The logic is simple: Apple synchronizes its proprietary video and music services with hardware improvements to improve sound quality and stability, as well as add features that better integrate with the iPhone and Apple Watch.
The first quarter of 2026 could bring two products for a wider audience. First, the iPhone 17e is a cheaper version of the main line with modern cameras and longer battery life. Second, the iPad Air with an M4 chip and built-in Face ID, which will close the gap between the «base» models and the Pro in terms of speed and biometric capabilities.
