According to the Ministry of Defense, within the framework of the «Plus» program, «Army+» has opened access to the LifesaverSIM training application. This is a tactical medicine simulator that allows you to practice actions in the event of injuries in combat conditions in the format of realistic missions. The training is built according to the standards of Tactical Combat Casualty Care — a training system for providing first aid on the battlefield.
To use the simulator, you need to install LifesaverSIM from the App Store or Google Play and authorize through «Army+». No personal data is required — the profile is created anonymously. After that, the military will be able to take the courses «For all military personnel» and «Rescuer fighter», which can be completed an unlimited number of times. After downloading the training materials, it works even without an Internet connection.
The Army+ application already had a basic course on tactical medicine available in the Training section. The new simulator supplements it with a practical part, allowing you to practice action algorithms in simulated combat scenarios. LifesaverSIM became the 20th partner of the Pluses program and opened a separate area in it dedicated to training.
This is an internationally recognized system for training military personnel to provide assistance to the wounded in battle, used by NATO armies. «Army+» is the Ministry of Defense’s digital service for military personnel, and the «Plus» program unites partners who provide useful services, discounts, and training opportunities to military personnel.
Previously, a new training course «Cyber Hygiene 2.0» became available on dev.ua, an application for the military «Army+». It helps to learn how to work safely with gadgets and the Internet to reduce the risks of information leaks and cyberattacks.
