Opendatabot’s «Grandma» service for searching court decisions has received a new tool based on artificial intelligence. Now users can instantly get a concise and understandable summary of complex court documents that previously required hours of reading.
According to the official press release on the Opendatabot website, the tool works simply: after opening the desired decision in «Grandma», just click on the «AI analysis of a court document» tab and within a few seconds the system will generate a concise summary with key details.
The summary contains:
parties to the case;
the essence of the dispute;
circumstance;
legal issues;
positions of the parties;
progress of the consideration;
the motivational part and the court decision itself.
The algorithm processes dozens of pages and «translates» them into understandable language, preserving the content without distortion. As Denis Popov, a lawyer and developer of Opendatabot, explains, this allows both professionals and ordinary users to quickly navigate the essence of the matter. «We have created a tool that saves hours of time and helps not only lawyers, but also journalists, analysts, and citizens,» he noted.
Lawyer and arbitration manager Denys Lykhopyok adds: «This is a breakthrough for working with a client. Previously, we spent half a day studying a document. Now it takes a minute.»
The tool is available only to registered users. The team continues to update the functionality of the service, adding the most popular features based on requests from the audience.
What is the «Grandma» service?
This is an Opendatabot project that simplifies the search and viewing of court decisions. Its main advantage is speed and convenience compared to the state register. By adding AI analysis to the service, the team has reached a new level: automatic structuring and translation of legal texts into an accessible language allows even people without a professional education to better understand legal processes in Ukraine.
Recall, we previously wrote that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine repels thousands of cyberattacks every month, and employees of the Ministry of Digital Affairs use special software with artificial intelligence that detects threats that are invisible to conventional antiviruses.

Тест dev.ua
