This is reported by DOU with reference to the Danish Ministry of Defense, which officially announced the dialogue between the parties on February 24. Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen noted that this issue was discussed together with Mikhail Fedorov. In Copenhagen, they believe that cooperation with Ukrainian defense manufacturers can strengthen the security of both Ukraine and Denmark itself.
This is not a one-time supply of products, but rather a possible localization of SkyFall production in Denmark. The material indicates that this process is being considered within the framework of the Build with Ukraine program, which involves launching Ukrainian production in partner countries. If the negotiations are successful, SkyFall may also be involved in cooperation with one or more local Danish enterprises.
Before signing contracts, the company must undergo a detailed check. In particular, this involves an analysis of the ownership structure, anti-corruption procedures, and other basic requirements without which such projects cannot be launched. That is, this is not yet a final agreement, but a stage of agreeing on conditions and checks.
SkyFall is known as a Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned systems. The company, in particular, produces Vampire heavy bombers, P1-Sun Shahed interceptors, and FPV drones. That is why the potential opening of production in Denmark is important not only as business news, but also as a signal of the scaling of Ukrainian air defense and anti-drone solutions to the European market.
Denmark has long been working with the Ukrainian defense industry according to the so-called «Danish model», that is, it not only transfers aid, but also invests in production. Negotiations with SkyFall show that the format of cooperation is expanding.
