The Ministry of Defense confirmed that radio electronic intelligence specialists will not be transferred to units that are not assigned to their specialty.
This was the response received by People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko to his request to the ministry. The request concerned the advisability of relocating servicemen of the Ukrainian Navy’s RER units.
The letter from the Ministry of Defense noted that the transfer of RER specialists in the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to combat brigades has been discontinued in accordance with the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated January 21, 2025 No. 1401/dsk.
Commentators under Oleksiy Honcharenko’s post reminded that they also promised not to transfer Air Force specialists to the infantry. «They even created a special commission. And they are still transferring,» noted Ms. Viktoriya, with whom other people agreed.
