According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, this is the first step in the phased implementation of AI solutions on «Diya.Osvita». The service works as a personal digital advisor when watching educational series, simulators, bytes, and guides: it can quickly convey the content and practical benefits of the material, explain professional vocabulary in simple language, and compile a short synopsis with key points.
The ministry explains that the motivation to develop digital skills among adults remains high: a 2025 study recorded that 59% associate such skills with career growth and a better financial situation, and 76% see digital competencies as beneficial for the economy and new employment opportunities. At the same time, the share of those who do not understand how and why to learn is increasing: the figure increased from 9% in 2019 to 18% in 2025. An AI mentor should remove this barrier, prompting explanations «in the moment» and helping to complete the training without losing motivation.
To use the feature, you need to log in to the platform and open the selected material, then start a chat via the «AI Mentor» icon in the lower right corner of the screen. The next tool the team announced is an AI guide that will select content and create personalized routes among 700+ educational products.
