Speaking to VideoGamer, GSC Game World representatives explained that the plan for the additions to STALKER 2 is to add completely «fresh perspectives» on the game’s mysterious Zone that have never been explored before.
«The players will be the best judges. As for us, we will continue to work hard so that they are not disappointed,» a GSC representative commented on the future support for STALKER 2 with updates.
There are currently no details on what exactly the story expansions will be, but players can expect brand new campaigns with their own goals.
«To avoid sounding too vague — although it is completely sincere — we want to assure everyone that with the help of story additions we really aim to surprise players and show this world from fresh perspectives. We can’t wait to tell you more, but everything has its time,» the studio explained.
Currently, two DLCs and a multiplayer PvP mode have been confirmed for STALKER 2.
GSC Game World has announced that its game STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been played by over 6 million players. However, the project has received mixed reviews on Steam over the past 30 days, with players asking the developers when a roadmap with plans and new content will be released.
