The company received the American contract less than two months after announcing its first production in the United States. Also, some of the technologies that Skyeton is currently working on in the United States may later "return" to Ukraine in the form of updates for combat systems. The company said that together with American partners they are developing new sensors, data processing directly on board the drone, and the SkyControlAI autonomy system.
It should help drones automatically search, recognize, and track targets, as well as coordinate the work of multiple platforms. The company claims that the technologies, which will be developed and tested in the United States, are planned to be integrated into systems for Ukraine.
Raybird is a Ukrainian reconnaissance UAV of the aircraft type, designed for long flights. According to Skyeton, it can stay in the air for up to 24 hours, cover up to 2,500 km in one flight and maintain communication at a distance of more than 200 km. This year, Skyeton added protection against interceptor drones to the drone. The system should detect such a drone in real time and warn the operator so that he can help the drone evade.
Previously, dev.ua wrote that Skyeton has already launched Raybird production in Slovakia.
