The developers announced this on their social networks. The module is already available for order and installation on a tracked platform to perform tasks in combat conditions.
The new module is a jib crane with a winch located at the rear of the tracked platform. The structure consists of an inclined jib and a support post with braces, through which a cable with a massive hook is laid for hooking damaged vehicles. Due to its low center of gravity, TerMIT is able to effectively perform the role of a tractor during the evacuation process.
The equipment is designed to rescue military equipment that is stuck in the mud, damaged by a mine, or has lost contact. "The needs of the front will always prompt us to find optimal solutions. We are adapting these solutions to existing means," TENCORE reported.
The TerMIT platform is a multifunctional ground drone that can perform logistical, engineering, and combat missions. The share of localized components exceeds 90%, and the cost depends on the configuration and ranges from $12,000 to $50,000.
