"All game-changer products that are on the battlefield today are the developments of residents of "Diya.City," said Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during an event dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of "Diya.City," which took place on February 7.
"I know most of the companies that have joined "Diya.City", we regularly communicate with their teams. I know for sure that all the game-changer products that are on the battlefield today are the developments of "Diya.City" residents. You know them well," the minister said.
He added that currently 250+ defense tech companies are included in the special tax regime.
"We need to think about how to attract investments. It will be necessary to create the right and easy conditions for attracting venture investments. The Innovation Fund continues to be the largest state angel investor and this is bad, there should be private funds," said Mikhail Fedorov.
The official noted that now there is a trend among companies to engage in science in the private sector. This is exactly what will lead to changes and, in particular, innovations on the battlefield. Therefore, the Ministry of Digital Economy wants to add a new KVED to the “Diya.City” mode, and the second one is “R&D and technical testing”.
