Minister of Digital Information Mykhailo Fedorov, in an interview with the podcast "Nashchnyi Intelekt" from Mate academy, spoke about his team's attitude towards criticism of the special tax regime "Diya City".
"We are philosophical about the fact that "Diya City" is sometimes called an "IT collective farm" and understand that there is a certain distrust of the authorities. Previously, for example, Yanukovych's son made similar tax breaks in order to then "stand at the entrance" and collect funds from companies that will enter this regime," said Fedorov.
In his opinion, people who write about the "IT collective farm" previously formed a negative opinion and are translating that experience into current projects.
"But we understand this, and our task as a state is to solve people's problems. We treat people who criticize us normally. We design processes so that no one can break them later and so that our team does not influence decision-making," the minister noted.
"90% of the largest companies incorporated into "Diya City" trust us. They know that we have never created a field where corruption can occur and we always respond to problems. Probably the most important product that we have generated is trust," Mykhailo Fedorov concluded.
