GUR showed the 3D design of the Iskander-K missile and named the manufacturers of its key components

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine’s Defense Department published an interactive 3D model of the 9M727 cruise missile from the Iskander-K complex and revealed which enterprises ensure the production of its main components: from the engine and navigation to electronics and warhead.
According to the GUR, the main enterprise in the production cycle is the Novator Research and Design Bureau of the Almaz-Antey Concern. In total, the material names 41 companies: 39 in Russia and one in Belarus. The list includes manufacturers of the warhead, turbojet engine and its components, satellite and inertial navigation systems, as well as other electronic units and component base. The published data contains identification information about the enterprises, a description of their functions in the production chain and an indication of the sanctions status.
Separately, the intelligence agency emphasized that some suppliers that provide critical elements of the missile still remain outside the sanctions. According to the GUR, 8 out of 41 mentioned enterprises are not under the restrictions of any of the countries of the sanctions coalition. Examples include the Tambov plant «Electropribor» (inertial navigation system GIB-123-4), JSC «Vysokiye Tehnologii» (gas generators GTT-37.000 for TRDD-50B engines) and the Volga Electromechanical Plant (components for active jamming stations 9B914).
The GUR emphasizes that these means of destruction are already being used by the aggressor state against Ukraine. Intelligence believes that further «closing» production chains through sanctions, in particular against companies that produce navigation, engines, and onboard electronics, may reduce the ability of the Russian military-industrial complex to maintain the pace of production and modernization of cruise missiles.
